A Healthy After-School Snack

The big day is here.

My kids come home from school famished.  They want something quick and easy.  Well, let’s face it, most quick and easy is not so healthy.  I know they love fruit, but I wanted them to have something with a little protein too.  I found this recipe, it’s quick and easy, I can make it right before they get off the bus.  This recipe has been adapted from

Peanut Butter Fruit Dip
1 heaping cup of yogurt ( I use Stonyfield Organic Smooh & Creamy lowfat french vanilla)

3 T creamy peanut butter

1 T honey (or to taste)

The kids love it. I love it too. And I feel good about what they are eating after school.
