How to Fuel for a Morning Run

When I run first thing in the morning, I don’t even have a sip of water.  I just go.  This article has a few helpful hints on what are good ideas for a fuel up before a run.  I’ll let you know if I try any of them.

Chewy No-Bake Granola Bars

I have made these.  My neighbors love them, my kids love them.  They are a winner at my house.  A friend told me about Coconut Oil and how I needed to start using it.  I cook with Coconut Oil whenever I can now.  I use it in stir-fry, I use it in baking.  These little no-bake granola bars are sooooo yummy.

Get Organized – Plan Meals for the Week

This is officially “Get Organized Week” and to kick it off, I’m sharing my weekly cheat sheet.  Every Monday morning, while someone is spilling Fruity O’s on my floor or sneezing milk across the room, I am busy making a meal plan.  I like to write out what I am making for dinner on one side and my grocery list on the other.  I keep it all week, because half of the time I totally forget what my plan was.  I will look in my fridge and get all crazy ‘cuz I can’t figure out what I was gonna do with that rotisserie chicken.  This way, I don’t have to worry or think about a meal each day.  Try it!
